And hey, we don't really want him to stop because Batman: White Knight was a lot of fun, and Batman: White Knight Presents Harley Quinn looks to also be a lot of fun. The difference this time around is that Murphy will be joined by his wife Katana Collins as they pull a dynamic duo on this new project with art by Matteo Scalera (Black Science) and Dave Stewart.
Murphy explains, “While developing Batman: White Knight and Batman: Curse of the White Knight, it became clear that there were rich backgrounds and stories to explore beyond the main series,” said Murphy. “I couldn’t be more excited to work alongside Katana, Matteo, and Matt Hollingsworth to enrich and expand this world in a way that’s just as rewarding for new readers as it is for loyal Batman: White Knight fans.”
We'll just have to make sure to do an intervention once Murphy announces one-shots for every single Bat-villain ever, because I'm still holding out hope that he'll one day do a sequel of Outer Orbit with Zach Howard. All this Bat-money is distracting him from what really matters.
Batman: White Knight Presents Harley Quinn is set to release on October 20th.
