Why this caught my eye:
That's a solid line up of creators, and I also just like to imagine that Garth Ennis is living his best life since he's always being given endless opportunities to do more war comics.
KLIK KLIK BOOM #1 (OF 5)
(W) Doug Wagner (A/CA) Douglas Dabbs, Matt Wilson
Meet Sprout, a mute assassin who communicates exclusively through polaroid pictures. Being raised by her doomsday-prepping grandfather in the rolling hills of Idaho, Sprout has never been around other people, watched TV, or seen clothes outside of Army fatigues. Now she's headed to the big lights of New York City to avenge her grandfather's murder, but will the city's mesmerizing glitz and glam help her succeed-or be the death of her?

Why this caught my eye:
Setup sounds fun, and art's looking good in the previews.
SAVAGE SQUAD 6 #1
(W) Robert Venditti, Brockton McKinney (A) Dalts Dalton
The year is 2037. A brutal world war has left humanity in shambles. The remnants of civilization are tracked down and systematically eliminated by The Scourge. Why this caught my eye:
The pitch feels a little generic, but Venditti has done good work in the past so it's worth checking out.
MEZKAL HC
(W) Kevan Stevens (A/CA) Jef
Vananka Darmont's life has sucked since his Indian father stuck him with such a weird name before disappearing. When he comes home from his soul-draining job to find his mother dead from an overdose, he decides to abandon the $31k in debt she left him to find a new life in Mexico. But trouble follows him like a shadow, and he soon finds himself wrapped up in a world of drug smugglers, white supremacists, and federal agents. In the middle of all that, however, is perhaps the one good thing ever introduced to his life: Leila. And when she's kidnapped, rescuing her becomes his single purpose.

Why this caught my eye:
Was tempted during its Kickstarter launch. While I always feel like I'm missing out by limiting how many Magnetic Press Kickstarters I support, at least they do make it to larger distribution and I can always catch up.
SCRAPPER #1 (OF 6)
(W) Cliff Bleszinksi, Alex De Campi (A) Sandy Jarrell (CA) Juan Ferreyra
MINISERIES PREMIERE
Game design genius CLIFF BLESZINSKI (Gears of War, Fortnite) makes his comics debut with critically acclaimed writer ALEX DE CAMPI (DRACULA, MOTHERF**KER!, PARASOCIAL) and fan-favorite artist SANDY JARRELL (Bombshells, Lynx)!
Blade Runner-style action mixes with big emotions as stray dog Scrapper and his buddy Tank fight for justice against the totalitarian forces of a post-apocalyptic domed city. But when the fight comes to his home, Scrapper will face losing what's most important to him-and gain a terrifying truth in the process. (Don't worry, Mom. The dog doesn't die.)

Why this caught my eye:
You had me at dogs. And then you added post-apocalyptic, so good insta-sell combo.
That's it for this batch, we'll check out some crime/suspense on the next round!
