Dery is an interesting character in the history of Transformers, being key to the franchise as he was a design supervisor on the Generation 1 cartoon and The Transformers: The Movie. He created the entire new cast of characters for the 1986 movie, and his design work is utterly stunning as it's infused with a 70's psychedelic fantasy vibe.
